What are the symptoms of Spleen Dampness

Spleen Dampness can be categorized into Spleen Deficiency and Dampness and Cold Dampness trapped in the Spleen. Symptoms include distension and pain in the epigastrium (abdomen), nausea and vomiting, as well as vomiting of water, and a light mouth with no thirst.
1. Spleen Deficiency and Dampness: In patients with weak spleen qi (weak spleen qi), the function of transporting and transforming water and dampness is out of order, and the water and dampness stops accumulating in the middle jiao, thus forming spleen dampness.
Clinical manifestations may include distension and pain in the abdomen, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, dry mouth and thirst but no desire to drink, dizziness, heaviness of the head, drowsiness of the limbs (weakness of the limbs, fatigue), fatigue, loose stools (thin and unformed feces), and sticky and unpleasant stools.
2. Cold and dampness trapping the spleen: mostly caused by wading in water and rain, living in wetlands for a long time, etc., resulting in cold and dampness invading the spleen and stomach.
Symptoms may include abdominal distension, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting of water, loss of appetite, light mouth, no thirst, heavy head and body, loose stools, short urine, yellowish color or even yellowish skin, and the color is dark, or as smoky, or accompanied by swelling of the limbs and face, and the amount of leucorrhoea can be seen in women, and so on.
