Herbal formulas for dispelling dampness mainly include Ginseng and Atractylodes Pill, Xiangsha Liu Jun Zi Pill, Wu Ling San and Huo Xiang Zheng Qi San.
1. Ginseng and Atractylodes Pill: mainly made of ginseng, poria, atractylodes, Chinese yam, white lentil, lotus seed and sand nut, etc. It is fragrant and slightly sweet; it can achieve the therapeutic effect of inducing diuresis and seepage of dampness (promoting the operation of water to dispel dampness) by strengthening the spleen and stomach or removing dampness and awakening the spleen.
2. Xiangsha Liu Jun Zi Pill: mainly made of Codonopsis, Atractylodes macrocephala, Poria, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Semen Haematoxylinum and Licorice, it can be used for the treatment of loss of appetite, belching (belching) and acid reflux caused by coldness in the spleen and stomach, phlegm-dampness, and stagnation of qi.
3. Wu Ling San: mainly made of Poria, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Rhizoma Zedoariae, Cinnamomum Cassiae and Poria, it is an expectorant of dampness, i.e., it has the efficacy of inducing water and seeping dampness as well as warming yang and transforming qi (warming the yang qi in body).
4. Huo Xiang Zheng Qi San: made of licorice, Angelica dahurica, Huo Xiang, Perilla, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae and Atractylodes Macrocephalae; it has the efficacy of dispersing dampness, regulating qi and neutralizing the efficacy and is mainly used for the treatment of symptoms of exogenous wind-cold or internal heat and dampness stagnation.
It is recommended to take the medicine under the diagnosis and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, and it is not advisable to take the medicine by oneself in order to avoid delaying the condition.
