Bacterial vaginosis can be cured with regular treatment and careful patient care. Symptoms of bacterial vaginosis include an increase in vaginal discharge, which is grayish white, thin, with a fishy odor, especially after sexual intercourse, and can be accompanied by mild vulvar itching and burning sensation. Bacterial vaginosis can be treated with metronidazole or tinidazole, as well as with compound sea buckthorn seed oil suppositories, metronidazole effervescent tablets and bitter ginseng lotion. After 1-2 courses of treatment with medication, if the leucorrhoea is normal and odorless, no itching and burning in the vulva, and the routine leucorrhoea test is negative, the disease is cured.
