Should moldy tofu scum be flushed out?

Mycotic tofu sludge refers to patients with mycotic vaginitis who have a tofu sludge-like vaginal discharge, which is a typical discharge characteristic of mycotic vaginitis. This bean curd-like discharge needs to be douched out. Mycosis fungoides are mostly treated with azole antifungal drugs, which can be applied vaginally topically, i.e. the drug is placed deep in the vagina for treatment, or orally, with topical application. If you choose to use vaginal medication, such as clotrimazole vaginal pessary, you need to put it into the vagina and rinse out the tofu-like discharge before using the medication, otherwise it will affect the absorption of the medication. Douching is not recommended during both doses. For the first douching, it is recommended that the patient be counseled by a physician, after which the patient can purchase a disposable vaginal douche and douche with warm water and add gynecological lotion before using the medication. Avoid picking vaginal secretions with your hands as it can easily aggravate the infection; avoid excessive douching. During treatment, patients are advised to wear cotton, loose underwear and disinfect underwear and closely contacted towels and other household items at high temperature; keep the vulva clean and dry; and prohibit intercourse. Because the treatment of mycosis vaginalis is mainly based on the local use of drugs in the vagina, in order to facilitate the absorption of drugs, tofu-like secretions need to be rinsed out before the use of drugs.
