What to do about gynecological vaginitis itching

When a woman suffers from gynecological inflammation, vulvovaginal itching is one of the most common clinical manifestations of gynecological inflammation. In some patients, the itching is severe and seriously affects the patient’s quality of life. Gynecological inflammation causing vulvovaginal itching is often painful in the vulva and is worse at night. When vulvar itching occurs, it is recommended that the patient immediately consult a local hospital for routine laboratory tests of vaginal secretions to further identify the cause of vulvar itching. Then, different treatment methods should be adopted for different causes, such as mycobacteria, trichomonas and vaginitis. At present, most of the vaginal inflammatory diseases are treated with topical vaginal medication, which can be supplemented with Chinese herbal lotion. If the symptoms of inflammation improve, the medication can be stopped and observed, and the vaginal discharge can be rechecked after one week to assess the effect of treatment. If the symptoms do not improve significantly after treatment, you need to seek immediate medical attention and change the medication if necessary. Therefore, when vulvovaginal itching occurs, the cause should be clearly identified first, and thereafter symptomatic treatment should be given according to the cause.
