How long does Candida usually take to treat

Candida causes mainly vulvovaginal pseudomonal yeast disease in obstetrics and gynecology, and its treatment usually takes 1-14 days. The main symptoms of patients with this disease are vulvovaginal itching, redness, burning pain, and increased discharge in the form of bean curd or curd-like discharge. The treatment varies from 1 to 14 days depending on the treatment plan. Topical medication is recommended for first-time infections and patients who are sexually active. Clotrimazole suppositories can be used and applied intravaginally, once, or a small dose of clotrimazole can be chosen and applied vaginally every night for 7 days. For severe infections requiring extended treatment, a single dose of clotrimazole may be added after 3 days of medication, or extended to 14 days for smaller doses. For women who are not sexually active, the systemic option of a one-time oral fluconazole is recommended. All of the above treatment regimens need to be reviewed after 7 days of discontinuation and a change of treatment regimen is required if infection is still present. And even if the leucorrhoea is normal, it is necessary to consolidate the treatment for 4-6 months. The treatment of Candida infection requires the elimination of causative factors, such as the discontinuation of broad-spectrum antibiotics and estrogenic drugs, and the active treatment of diabetes in diabetic patients. At the same time, pay attention to changing underwear regularly, and can be scalded with boiling water.
