Tranexamic acid is generally not used for the treatment of varicocele, and the latter can be selected as an appropriate treatment option depending on the severity of the condition. Tranexamic acid mainly has the effects of hemostasis, anti-metamorphosis, anti-inflammation, etc. It is mainly used for a variety of bleeding caused by systemic or local hyperfibrinolysis and many other conditions, and is not used for the treatment of varicose veins of the spermatic cord. It should be contraindicated in people who are allergic to the product and those who are using thrombin, and adverse reactions such as loss of appetite, heartburn, nausea, vomiting, itching and rash may occur after the use of the drug. Varicose veins can be left untreated if there are no obvious symptoms. Mild symptoms can be treated with medications such as Mai Zhi Ling tablets and ibuprofen, while severe symptoms can be treated with surgery (e.g., ligation of the spermatic vein). The use of specific drugs should be guided by a specialist.
