In case of no conscious discomfort, breast cancer patients need to follow the doctor’s instructions for regular checkups; if they have sudden discomfort, they should have a checkup as soon as possible. Breast cancer patients need to be rechecked regularly when there is no conscious symptom aggravation and other discomforts, usually every three months in the first two years, and every six months in the second three years. After five years, the review should be done once a year. If discomfort occurs during the period between reviews, the patient should go to the oncology department or breast surgery department as soon as possible. Common review items include breast ultrasound, mammogram, breast MR, chest CT, bone densitometry, whole-body bone imaging, tumor marker test and PETCT. Breast cancer patients are advised to follow the doctor’s instructions to receive treatment, have regular postoperative checkups, and seek medical attention if they feel unwell.
