Morodan is composed of many Chinese medicines, such as Radix Panax Ginseng, Radix Ophiopogonis, Rhizoma Ginseng, Fructus Lycii, etc. It has the effect of stabilizing pain and opening up the collaterals, eliminating flatulence and strengthening the spleen, and harmonizing the stomach and lowering rebelliousness (harmonizing the stomach qi and making the upward rebellious qi to descend), and can be used in cases where the chronic atrophic gastritis manifests itself in symptoms such as stomachache, constipation, belching (burp), dullness (lack of appetite and reduced food intake), and heartburn.
Gastric Fuchun Tablet is composed of Bran-fried Citrus Aurantium, Red Ginseng and Aromatic Tea Cress, which has the effect of activating blood circulation and detoxification, strengthening the spleen and benefiting the qi, and this drug is mainly used for the adjuvant treatment of pre-cancerous lesions of gastric cancer and after surgery for gastric cancer, as well as chronic superficial gastritis of spleen and stomach weakness type. Therefore, atrophic gastritis is usually not recommended for patients.
