When is the best time to get a veneer after a tooth extraction

Without teeth, it is definitely inconvenient to eat, which not only affects the chewing function but also the aesthetics, so we all hope to have dentures in a shorter time after tooth extraction. So, when is the most appropriate time to get a dental implant? Generally speaking, it is more appropriate to install dentures about 2-3 months after tooth extraction. This is because it takes a process for the extraction wound to heal completely. Under normal circumstances, a cavity (i.e., a wound) in the tooth socket is exposed after the extraction and is filled with blood clots. In the following days, the cavity is filled with granulation tissue, which slowly fills the cavity, and then the cavity gradually grows flat until the cavity is completely healed, and after the cavity is healed, the alveolar bone still needs to have a resorption process, which will not be stable until two months later. If the incision does not grow well, due to the resorption of the alveolar bone, the extraction incision is still changing, and there will be a gap between the denture and the gum tissue, resulting in food impaction, bad breath, loose and unstable denture, which may need to be reset. As to whether the wound is healing well or not, and whether it is suitable for dental implants, of course, we should ask a professional dentist to check. If the alveolar bone is uneven in the missing teeth, sometimes it is necessary to perform alveolar bone repair surgery, especially after full mouth extraction. There is an immediate denture: the model is taken before the extraction, the denture is made on the model first, and the teeth are worn immediately after the extraction. This denture has poor retention and long-term effect because the extracted teeth do not fit tightly, and it is only suitable for temporary anterior teeth for aesthetic purposes, and needs to be redone after the gums heal. If you are going to have dental implants, the time for implant surgery after tooth extraction should be longer, at least not shorter than 3 months. In short, about 3 months after extraction is the best time to get dental implants, do not delay too long, more than half a year without dentures, the surrounding good teeth will be more or less inclined to the missing gap, which is what the dentist does not want to see, and you are the one affected.
