What’s wrong with not getting your period after taking progesterone?

After taking progesterone, you will not necessarily get your period immediately. It is possible that you need to wait for 7-10 days after the last day of taking progesterone to get your period, so it is normal that you have not yet gotten your period. If you have not had your period for more than 10 days, you must rule out an unwanted pregnancy. Generally, you can rule out pregnancy by using a test strip or coming to the hospital to have a blood test for HCG more than 12 days after the last intercourse. If pregnancy is completely ruled out, it may also be caused by uterine adhesions or thin endometrium, and you can continue with estrogen replacement therapy, such as Fentanyl. If you do not have normal menstruation after 1 box of Fentanyl, i.e. 28 days of 1 artificial cycle, you may need to undergo hysteroscopy, and if there are cervical adhesions or cervical canal adhesions, you may need to undergo cervical canal dilatation or cervical adhesion separation surgery.
