Manifestations of tuberculosis physical examination

Patients with pulmonary tuberculosis undergo a physical examination including physical examination, laboratory tests and special tests with their own manifestations. Physical examination can reveal reduced thoracic respiratory movements, relatively coarse breath sounds can be heard on auscultation at the lesion with fixed medium and small vesicular sounds, and the detection of body temperature usually has a persistent hypothermic state with body temperature between 38-39°C. Patients have facial flushing, excessive sweating, with wasting and weakness. Routine blood tests typically reveal elevated lymphocytes, elevated C-reactive protein, and positive sputum tests for Mycobacterium tuberculosis in their respiratory sputum, and if necessary, sputum can be checked for Mycobacterium tuberculosis DNA as well. For patients who have been taking anti-tuberculosis drugs for a period of time, attention should also be paid to checking liver and kidney functions, as some patients may have some damage to the liver because of taking drugs for too long, and liver functions such as transaminases may be elevated to varying degrees.
