Sudden bleeding in the lower part of a pregnant woman, depending on the month of gestation, may be related to pre-eclampsia, ectopic pregnancy, placental factors, cervical pathology, and approaching labor.
1. Early pregnancy: It may be related to preeclampsia, ectopic pregnancy, cervical polyp, etc. It can be identified by ultrasound, chorionic gonadotropin measurement and gynecological examination.
2. Middle and late pregnancy: often associated with placenta praevia, placental abruption, preterm labor, cervical lesions and other factors.
(1) Placenta praevia: it is often characterized by recurrent painless vaginal bleeding, which can be diagnosed by ultrasound;
(2) Placental abruption: often triggered by abdominal trauma and hypertension, which can be identified by ultrasound;
(3) Pre-eclampsia: small amount of redness in late pregnancy, especially near the expected date of labor, accompanied by mild lower abdominal pain, may be pre-eclampsia;
(4) cervical lesions: sudden bleeding in late pregnancy may also be related to cervical lesions, such as cervical polyps.
