Children with fever without cough or runny nose are mostly respiratory tract infections, most of which do not require treatment; however, other systemic diseases can also cause fever and should be treated as early as possible.
1. Respiratory tract infections: mostly viral or bacterial infections of pathogenic bacteria, early on, there may be no symptoms, just a fever. If the temperature is below 38.5℃, a cool towel can be applied to the forehead; if the temperature is greater than 38.5℃, acetaminophen can be taken to lower the temperature and active treatment of the original disease. Combined with bacterial infection need to consider the use of antibiotic treatment, such as penicillin, cefixime and so on.
2. Other systemic diseases: common for hematologic diseases, such as leukemia, lymphoma, etc.; urinary system diseases such as acute pyelonephritis, cystitis, etc.; central system diseases, such as meningitis. This situation can only appear the manifestation of fever, should actively treat the original disease, so as not to delay the disease.
