There are very strict criteria for stopping the medication after taking entecavir dispersible tablets, if you are a patient with cirrhosis before taking the medication, you cannot stop the medication and have to take the medication for life. If you are a non-cirrhotic hepatitis B major triple-positive patient before taking the medication, you must take the medication for at least 3 years and meet the requirements of changing from major triple-positive to minor triple-positive and at least 3 years of negative hepatitis B DNA before stopping the medication. If you are a non-cirrhotic hepatitis B minor triple-positive patient before taking the medication, the course of medication must be at least 3 years and accompanied by the transformation of hepatitis B surface antigen before you can consider stopping the medication. If you stop the medication without meeting the criteria for discontinuation, there is a higher chance of virological rebound, especially in patients with cirrhosis, and there is a risk of cirrhosis loss after stopping the medication.
