Results of surgery for knee valgus.

What is commonly referred to as “outgrowth” is medically called “knee valgus”. This condition is also a late result of osteoarthritis of the knee joint, sometimes as a sequel to trauma. Again, this condition used to be difficult to treat, but now it can be completely cured with an artificial knee replacement.

The patient presented here is a 61-year-old woman. She has had osteoarthritis of the right knee for more than 20 years and has an external deformity of the right knee (outward leg). Again, she went down 3 days after surgery and walked on her own 2 weeks later.       This is a comparison of 2 years before and after surgery, which has been completely normal: 1. pre-surgery x-ray 2. post-surgery x-ray 3. comparison of before and after surgery photos <;img src=";http://file.youlai.cn/cnkfile1/M00/02/73/o4YBAFcJ4jyAF6EKAABCBiHUy6A797. jpg"; border=";0".
