There are two biggest possibilities for protein in urine, one can be seen after exercise or exertion, and the other pathological proteinuria, which can be seen in primary glomerulonephritis and also in secondary kidney diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, systemic lupus erythematosus and allergic purpura, can lead to protein in urine. For glomerulonephritis causing increased protein permeation and increased filtration of protein, drugs targeting nephritis treatment such as ACEI or ARB can be used, and hormones and immunosuppressants need to be applied if necessary.
