Do babies under 1 year old need to wear a mask?

Children under the age of 1 are not suitable for wearing masks because younger children cannot wear masks. For these children, the main focus is on passive protection, relying on parents, family members, and caregivers to protect the child indirectly. Caregivers should wear masks, not sneeze or exhale at the child, and wash their hands regularly. Children should be dressed modestly, neither hot nor cold. Parents should not share utensils with their children, do not blow on food with their mouths, minimize taking children out, try not to take public transportation, and keep at least 1 meter away from other people.
