Adverse effects of Angelica sinensis is not clear, the specific use of medication need to follow the doctor’s instructions.
Angelica has the effect of regulating menstruation and relieving pain, moistening dryness and sliding intestines, tonifying blood and activating blood, and can be used to treat menstrual disorders, menstrual closure and dysmenorrhea, abdominal pain with deficiency cold, dizziness and palpitations, bruises and fluttering injuries, intestinal dryness and constipation, rheumatism and paralysis, carbuncle and gangrene (a kind of venomous sores, which occurs in the surface of the body, the limbs, and the internal organs of the acute suppurative disease) sores and ulcers, and so forth.
The adverse reactions and contraindications of Angelica sinensis are not yet clear. Note that it should be taken with caution in cases of Dampness Shengzhongmang (too much dampness causing fullness and discomfort in the spleen and stomach) and loose stools.
The medication should be taken under the guidance of a physician, and should not be used on its own to avoid adverse effects.
