Is blood on day 45 of cesarean section your period?

After having a cesarean section, if the discharge is clean at the normal time, there is a chance that the blood may be menstruation at 45 days after the operation. A woman’s uterus will begin to recover after having a baby and will return to its pre-pregnancy state in about 42 days after delivery. In some women, the uterine lining repairs better and ovarian function recovers more quickly, so it is possible to have a period a month or so after the operation. Although most women get their period 3-6 months after delivery, some women do get their period earlier. The main thing to look for in bleeding is whether the timing is similar to the usual menstrual cycle, if it is the same as the usual menstrual cycle consider it a period. If the bleeding does not stop and is prolonged, a repeat ultrasound is needed.
