Some patients will have bleeding symptoms after scaling. Don’t panic when this symptom occurs, the bleeding is caused by too much tartar, which will touch the gums during the process of shedding and cause bleeding, this bleeding is only temporary bleeding and will usually be relieved within one or two days. If bleeding occurs, patients must brush their teeth carefully and not be afraid or hesitant to brush their teeth because of bleeding. Brush your teeth up and down, gently brush your teeth with a soft-bristled toothbrush, and brush your teeth carefully and promptly to help relieve the bleeding symptoms. This is because sometimes there is tartar that floats on the surface after a scaling and falls off during the shocking process, but does not rinse out completely and lands on the gum papillae. By brushing carefully, the tartar will continue to be cleaned and dislodged, and the bleeding symptoms will be relieved immediately.
