Chai Hu Gui Zhi Dry Ginger Soup has a conciliatory effect and there is no evidence that it can be used to treat impotence.
Chai Hu Gui Zhi Gan Jiang Tang is composed of Chai Hu, Gui Zhi, Gan Jiang and other medicines, with the effect of harmonizing and dissolving the knot, warming the interior and dispelling cold. It can be used clinically to treat cold and heat exchanges (the body is hot and cold at the same time), cold with slight heat, or cold without heat and chest tightness, heartburn, dysuria (unruly urination), and other symptoms of typhoid fever and shao-yang (a type of typhoid fever with six meridians and a location between the surface and the inside of the body).
Impotence may be caused by factors such as failure of vital fire (weakness of kidney yang in the organism, with reduced function of warming and promoting the flow of qi and blood), deficiency of heart and spleen, and dampness-heat subluxation (invasion of dampness and heat into the intestinal tract, bladder, pubic area, lower limbs, etc.), which may be treated with medications such as Zanyu Pills. At present, there are no clinical reports that can indicate that Chai Hu Gui Zhi Gan Jiang Tang can be used to treat impotence.
Patients who need to use medication should do so under the guidance of a doctor and should not use medication without authorization.
