Headaches caused by high blood pressure after dialysis can lead to conditions such as imbalance syndrome or cerebral hemorrhage, and there is no such thing as relieving them with any kind of water rinse. There is no such thing as a water rinse to relieve it. The treatment is different depending on the cause of the problem.
1. Imbalance syndrome: It is a syndrome in which neurological (headache, nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, elevated blood pressure, and drowsiness in severe cases) is the main manifestation in the process of dialysis or after dialysis. It is recommended that patients rest in bed and try to stay inactive. If the patient’s symptoms are not relieved obviously, it is recommended to give 50% dextrose intravenously or mannitol dehydration under the guidance of doctor.
2. Cerebral hemorrhage: high blood pressure may cause cerebral hemorrhage, mainly manifested as headache, persistent headache, accompanied by limb weakness, or muscle strength decreased significantly, such patients should pay attention to rest in their normal life, to avoid fatigue, and to avoid emotional stress.
It is recommended to control blood pressure (antihypertensive drugs: captopril, nifedipine), hemostatic drugs (kalorol), lower intracranial pressure (mannitol) and other symptomatic treatment under the guidance of the doctor.
