What are the causes of strong fetal left ventricular spot

The fetal left ventricular spot is an ultrasound image and not a disease. The main causes of fetal LV spot on ultrasound are: 1) mineral deposits in the center of the papillary muscle of the fetal heart, also known as calcification; 2) thickening of the tendon cords in the left ventricle of the fetus as a result of an ultrasound image; 3) early ischemic lesions in the papillary muscle of the fetal heart. Regardless of which factor causes the strong spot in the fetal left ventricle, most of them are a physiological change. It disappears after 38 weeks of gestation as the number of weeks of gestation increases. If other findings are also abnormal, further investigations should be performed to rule out chromosomal abnormalities and genetic disorders.
