What is the effect of taking Codonopsis pilosulae and Angelica sinensis and Astragalus together?

Codonopsis, Angelica sinensis and Astragalus membranaceus are common Chinese medicinal herbs. Taken together, the three have the effects of tonifying the qi, nourishing the blood and strengthening the spleen.
Codonopsis pilosula is flat in nature and has the effects of tonifying the middle Jiao (treating Qi deficiency by tonifying the spleen), strengthening the spleen and benefiting the lungs. It is used in treating weakness of the spleen and lungs, shortness of breath and palpitation, loose stools (scanty and unformed feces), asthma and coughing, internal heat and thirst (internal heat accompanied by symptoms such as excessive eating, drinking and urinating). It is not suitable to be used in conjunction with Veratrum. It should not be taken by those with solid evils.
Angelica sinensis is warm in nature, with the effects of activating blood circulation, relieving pain, tonifying blood and regulating menstruation, moistening the intestines and relaxing the bowels. It is used for vertigo and palpitations, menstrual disorders, abdominal pain with deficiency cold, constipation with dry intestines, and rheumatism-paralysis (joint and muscular pains caused by wind-cold and dampness). It should not be taken by those who suffer from heat hemorrhage (bleeding symptoms caused by blood heat), and should be taken with caution by those who suffer from dampness fullness (fullness and discomfort in the spleen and stomach caused by too much dampness) and loose stools.
Astragalus is mildly warm in nature and has the effects of strengthening the spleen and tonifying the middle, elevating yang and lifting sunken organs, benefiting the guards and consolidating the epidermis, inducing diuresis, and supporting toxins and muscle growth (expelling toxins and evils to promote muscle growth and wound healing). It should not be taken by those who have solid surface evil, sores and ulcers at the beginning, or those whose heat and toxicity are still prevalent after ulceration.
From this, it can be seen that Codonopsis, Angelica Sinensis and Astragalus taken together have the effects of tonifying Qi, nourishing blood and strengthening the spleen. It is more effective to be taken by a professional doctor after diagnosis and treatment, and the active ingredients of drinking water are limited, which generally cannot achieve the therapeutic effect.
The adverse effects of the above drugs are not clear. If there is a need to take the same, it is recommended to use under the guidance of a physician or pharmacist, not self-medication.
