Neurodermatitis belongs to the category of “psoriasis” in Chinese medicine. Chinese medicine is divided into liver depression and fire (liver qi is blocked, resulting in fire and heat), blood deficiency and wind dryness, and rheumatism and dampness in the skin. It can be treated with medicines such as gentian diarrhea liver soup. 1. Liver depression and fire, bright red rash, insomnia, irritability, bitter mouth, red tongue and number of strings. Treat with Gentian Diarrhea Liver Tang. The composition is scutellaria, gardenia, psyllium, gentian, tribulus terrestris, zedoary, angelica and so on. Rheumatism embraces the skin, with dark red or brown lesions, localized hypertrophy, severe itching, especially at night, with pale tongue and slow pulse. It can be treated with the addition and subtraction of elimination of wind dispersal. The composition is thorns, cicadas, raw land, windbreak, gypsum, atractylodes, mouton and so on.
