How to treat bleeding from congenital cerebral vascular malformation

The incidence of congenital cerebrovascular malformations is relatively high, and the treatment of patients with hemorrhage is divided into two steps: 1) dealing with the vascular malformation, doing MRA or CTA, digital subtraction angiography, clarifying the site of the vascular malformation, and entering into interventional and embolization therapy, and open craniotomy treatment. Craniotomy treatment is relatively more traumatic, and interventional embolization treatment is minimally invasive treatment; 2. Handle bleeding and hematoma formed after bleeding. Small amount of bleeding choose conservative treatment, through the hemostatic drugs or mannitol to reduce cranial pressure. More bleeding can be craniotomy, drilling and drainage to relieve the pressure. Treatment of vascular malformations should be early and timely, with a race to the bottom for imaging in order to improve prognosis.
