A painful large plate tooth may require treatment such as scaling, filling, nerve calming, root canal or extraction of the affected tooth, and it is recommended to go to the hospital for specific examination and treatment.
1. If the large plate tooth is loose with periodontal inflammation, it may need scaling to remove the calculus to relieve the inflammation of the gums.
2. If there are defects in the neck of the teeth, hot and cold sensitivity and pain, the shape of the teeth may need to be repaired.
3. If the teeth are decayed and have hot and cold transient pain, it may be necessary to remove the decayed material and then put zinc oxide clove oil to calm the nerve treatment.
4. Root canal treatment may be needed if the tooth has persistent pain, night pain.
5. If a molar tooth is fractured or if the tooth is more than three degrees loose, the tooth may need to be extracted.
