According to the recommendations of the CSCO guidelines of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology, the treatment of this disease mainly consists of two methods: surgery and application of targeted drugs. According to the size of the tumor, its location and pathological grading, the corresponding treatment method should be chosen. 1. If the size of gastrointestinal mesenchymal tumor is relatively small, <2cm, and the symptoms are not obvious, surgical resection is adopted. The prognosis will be better if the patient is followed up regularly and closely after surgery. 2. If the size of gastrointestinal mesenchymal tumor is large, >5cm, with more pathological nuclear schizophrenia and symptoms such as rupture and hemorrhage, then on the basis of surgical resection, targeting drugs should be applied to assist in the treatment. 3. If the gastrointestinal mesenchymal tumor does not meet the requirements of surgical indications, or metastasis occurs, then the corresponding dose of targeted drug therapy can be selected, such as imatinib, apotinib, sunitinib, the use of which should follow the medical advice. It is recommended that when gastrointestinal mesenchymal tumor is diagnosed, it is necessary to go to the hospital in time, cooperate with the doctor’s treatment, and use the medication under the doctor’s advice.
