What’s wrong with itchy yellow skin

Itchy yellow skin is considered to be pruritus, contact dermatitis and pseudo jaundice caused by obstructive liver and gallbladder diseases.
1. Pruritus: cholangitis, cholecystitis, gallstones and so on will cause bile stasis, hepatitis, cirrhosis and other liver diseases will also cause bilirubin stasis, resulting in jaundice, these causes will cause yellowing of the skin, bilirubin precipitation in the skin will cause irritation of the skin nerve endings, causing itching.
2. Contact dermatitis: when the skin comes into contact with some kind of irritant, such as clothing with high chemical composition, the clothing may lose color and stimulate the skin at the same time, resulting in yellowing and itching of the skin allergic reaction.
3. Pseudo jaundice: If you have recently eaten a lot of food containing carotene, such as pumpkin, oranges, carrots, etc., this condition will lead to pigmentation to make the skin yellowish. The itching may be caused by other reasons, such as mosquito bites causing itching, which is not directly related to pseudo jaundice. This can lead to yellowing of the skin along with itching.
Yellowing and itching of the skin may have other causes, and it is recommended to go to the regular hospital in time, under the guidance of the doctor to standardize the treatment.
