Does early-stage cancer come back sooner or later?

Early stage cancer patients have a low probability of recurrence after treatment, but not 100%. Cancer is a malignant disease caused by heredity, environment and other factors. Early stage cancer foci are often limited, and radical surgical resection is often feasible, after which radiotherapy, targeted therapy and other adjuvant treatments are often performed according to the condition to achieve a high clinical cure rate. Generally speaking, the recurrence rate is low, about 10%. Although there is a certain recurrence rate, it is not 100%, so patients do not need to worry too much. Regular postoperative checkups, such as every 3 months for the first 2 years, cessation of smoking and alcohol consumption in daily life, and appropriate exercise can reduce the recurrence rate and prolong the survival period to a certain extent.
