Is 0.6 centimeters an early stage of stomach cancer?

Stomach cancer 0.6 cm is early gastric cancer. Early gastric cancer is defined as gastric cancer that only involves the gastric mucosa or submucosa, regardless of the size of the lesion and the presence or absence of lymph and metastasis. Gastric cancer with a diameter of <0.5cm is called micro gastric cancer, and gastric cancer with a diameter of <1.0cm is called small gastric cancer. Early gastric cancer usually has no obvious symptoms. Sometimes, non-specific symptoms such as epigastric discomfort, fullness and nausea after eating can occur. Surgery is the main treatment method for stomach cancer at present. Gastric mucosal resection can be performed endoscopically for non-ulcerated differentiated intramucosal carcinoma with a diameter of <2cm. Regular review is needed after surgery, and in principle, adjuvant chemotherapy is not necessary after radical surgery for early gastric cancer. Early gastric cancer patients can reduce the adverse effects of the disease through systematic diagnosis and treatment, and work and live like normal people. It is suggested that patients should actively carry out regular treatment.
