Is new coronavirus pneumonia more dangerous than the flu?

The new coronavirus has a significantly higher rate of death compared to the cold, as shown by current statistics. Usually, a cold and fever is not a big deal, and with hydration and proper use of fever-reducing medication, you will usually recover within 1-2 weeks. Coronavirus, on the other hand, can lead to severe pneumonia and even cause death, which is more dangerous, but there are cases of recovery after active treatment. Therefore, there is no need to be overly nervous after a cold and try to eliminate the fear of new coronavirus pneumonia. Of course, if a diagnosis of novel coronavirus pneumonia is confirmed, it needs to be isolated and treated as soon as possible.
