Lymphogranulomatosis, also known as inguinal lymphogranulomatosis, is an infectious disease usually caused by unclean sexual intercourse. It is transmitted mainly through sexual contact, but may also be transmitted through contact with contaminants, such as mucosal abscesses and ulcers. Since the disease usually occurs in the perineal area, it is not easily detected when the symptoms are relatively mild, when lymph in the groin and other locations appear, or when women develop pubic, anal, or rectal abscesses in advanced stages. In the early stages of the lesion, patients usually have no obvious symptoms, and as the disease progresses, many serious complications, such as urethral stricture or vaginal stricture, can occur in the advanced stages. It is recommended that patients with lymphogranuloma should go to a regular hospital for relevant examinations in a timely manner and under the guidance of a physician for symptomatic treatment, otherwise it can cause serious harm to the female patient’s body.
