What are the early symptoms of cervical compression of the spinal cord?

Cervical spine compression of the spinal cord belongs to the spinal cord type of cervical spondylosis, whose early symptoms are neck pain, arm numbness and weakness.
Spondylotic cervical spondylosis is mainly caused by degenerative changes in the cervical spine, including herniated discs, bone spurs, and thickened ligaments, which can narrow the cervical spinal canal and lead to compression or ischemia of the cervical spinal cord, thus causing spinal cord dysfunction.
Early symptoms of cervical spondylosis may include numbness of the arms, fatigue, clumsiness of movement, weakness, stiffness of the legs, impaired balance, neck pain, and in some cases, urinary urgency.
If any of these symptoms occur, it is recommended to go to the hospital for early treatment.
