What’s wrong with the pain in the right side of my chest when I move around in the morning?

Early morning pain in the right chest upon activity may be some physiological phenomenon, or it may be the manifestation of certain diseases, such as pleurisy, pneumonia, etc., and should be promptly consulted to find out the cause of the disease.
1. Physiological factors: when the patient carries out strenuous activities of the upper limbs may pull the muscles and ligaments of the chest wall or intercostal space, resulting in contusion or tearing, and the pain manifests itself in breathing and activities.
2. Pathologic factors
(1) Pleurisy is most commonly manifested as chest pain, which may be severe, transient, sharp pain in the chest or aggravation of the existing pain when taking a deep breath, coughing, moving suddenly, sneezing or even talking in the early morning.
(2) Pneumonia can cause clinical symptoms of coughing, coughing up sputum and fever, and when coughing intensely in the early stage, the intercostal muscles will have sharp contraction movement, which leads to fatigue and chest pain. And part of the pneumonia is due to the inflammation involved in the pleura, stimulation of the pleural nerve endings, resulting in clinical symptoms of chest pain.
There may be other factors, but this symptom alone is not enough to diagnose the disease. If physiological causes are ruled out, timely consultation should be made to clarify the cause of the disease and give targeted treatment.
