One degree atrioventricular block of the heart, what does that mean?

One-degree atrioventricular block is a condition in which the atrial conduction time of the heart is prolonged beyond the normal range, but each atrial excitement is still able to travel into the ventricles.
First-degree AV block is a heart condition in which the impulses from the atria are able to conduct into the ventricles, but the time required for conduction is prolonged, i.e., beyond the normal range. The heart one degree AV block usually has no obvious symptoms, the main symptoms are the symptoms of the primary disease, such as myocarditis can be manifested as chest tightness, panic, precordial pain and so on.
For patients with slow heart rate and obvious symptoms, oral atropine or aminophylline can be used for treatment.
It is currently believed that the prognosis for patients with one degree of atrioventricular block is good, and their quality of life and life expectancy are generally not significantly affected.
Patients with one degree AV block should go to the hospital in time and actively treat the primary disease to avoid adverse consequences.
