There is no such thing as a nemesis for anthrax. Antibiotics such as penicillin G are generally preferred for pathogenic treatment, as well as general and symptomatic treatment.
1. Pathogenic treatment: Since anthrax is caused by Bacillus anthracis infection, sensitive antibiotics need to be applied for the treatment of this bacterium, and penicillin G is generally preferred, in addition to cephalosporins and so on.
2. General treatment: people suffering from anthrax need isolation, bed rest, and attention to drink more water, give fluids or semi-fluids; due to the loss of body fluids caused by vomiting, diarrhea and so on, intravenous rehydration can be used.
3. Symptomatic treatment: skin anthrax can be treated by applying warm compresses with potassium permanganate solution, and adrenocorticotropic hormone can be applied in case of malignant edema of the skin and severe cases.
