Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) clinically refers to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and Oxygen Therapy (OT) refers to the inhalation of oxygen. Breathing exercises refer to slowing down the deterioration of respiratory function through simple movements.
1. Long-term home oxygen therapy: patients in the stabilization period can practice long-term home oxygen therapy. It can improve the quality of life and survival rate of those with chronic respiratory failure complicated by chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and will have beneficial effects on hemodynamics, exercise capacity and mental status. Attention should be paid to low-flow oxygen inhalation, inhalation of oxygen concentration of 28% to 30%, to avoid inhalation of oxygen concentration is too high caused by carbon dioxide retention.
2. Breathing exercise is a kind of fitness exercise that is conducive to the regulation of various systems of the human body. It can increase the muscle strength of the respiratory muscles and relieve the degeneration of the respiratory system of the elderly.
Breathing exercises are: ① lying on your back, both hands clenched fists at the elbow joint flexion and extension 5 to 10 times, calm and deep breathing 5 to 10 times; ② arm alternately stretching out in front of the upper part of the natural respiration 5 to 10 times; alternately in the knee flexion and extension of the legs 5 to 10 times; ③ abdominal breathing, bending the knees of the two legs, one hand on the chest, one hand on the abdomen, inhalation of the abdominal wall bulge, the exhalation of the abdominal wall contraction, 5 to 10 times.
