What is suleucizumab?

Sulodexide monoclonal antibody, commonly known as baliximab for injection, is an immunosuppressive agent that prevents conditions such as early acute organ rejection after kidney transplantation. In addition to preventing early acute organ rejection after renal transplantation, Baleximab for Injection is usually used in combination with a corticosteroid and cyclosporine-based duo immunosuppressive regimen (adults and children) or a long-term triple immunosuppressive regimen of cyclosporine, azathioprine/mortimecoxib and corticosteroid-based therapy (adults only). It should be noted that treatment with this drug is contraindicated in people who are allergic to baliximab for injection or any of the other components of this medication; adults may experience constipation, urinary tract infections, pain, nausea, high blood pressure, anemia, headache, hyperkalemia, hypercholesterolemia, increased blood creatinine, hypophosphatemia, diarrhea, and upper respiratory infections with the drug. Patients requiring treatment with Baliximab should be under the supervision of a physician.
