Pneumoconiosis is a disease characterized by diffuse fibrosis of lung tissue caused by long-term inhalation of productive mineral dust during occupational activities and its retention in the lungs. The vast majority of patients are asymptomatic in the early stages. However, symptoms such as coughing, wheezing and coughing up sputum gradually appear as a result of occupational activities or long-term exposure to large quantities of inorganic mineral dust. In most cases, the disease is chronic. The disease is chronic in nature and does not affect the survival time in mild cases, while in severe cases, it is necessary to go to the hospital, undergo the appropriate clinical examination to clarify the cause of the disease and to treat it in time in order to improve the patient’s prognosis. The treatment of pneumoconiosis should be symptomatic according to the clinical manifestations of the patient, and the main therapeutic objectives are to reduce the pain of the patient, improve the quality of life and increase the life expectancy of the patient.
