Many patients have the need and desire to straighten their teeth, but are torn between the wires and brackets attached to the tooth surface for up to a year, affecting the aesthetics, eating, brushing, etc., and then backing off after consideration, so it is necessary to recommend more convenient and comfortable braces for such patients. Recently received treatment to complete a number of invisible orthodontic cases, feel the visible benefits it brings to patients, so again to emphasize its features. The biggest benefit of invisible braces is that they allow patients to face orthodontics with ease and without fear, as they can temporarily remove the braces at critical times. The treatment procedure for ordinary brackets and wires does not allow for the removal of orthodontic appliances, and when individual patients forcefully request their removal, the doctor not only takes time and effort, but also has to prepare a new set of brackets and reapply them. Second, periodontal care is greatly simplified. We often shake our heads at the poor execution of medical advice by some of our adolescent patients, because no matter how sternly they are admonished, all they see at each follow-up visit are red and swollen gums, and in addition to the patient’s perfunctory response, the chronic irritation of the gums from plaque and food debris deposited by the bracket wires is not easily resolved. When the invisible braces are removed, the dental surfaces are much easier to clean. Therefore, whether adult or adolescent orthodontic patients, invisible orthodontic treatment is preferred in terms of protecting periodontal health. Secondly, with the development of 3D printing technology, the manufacturing process of invisible aligners has been upgraded and improved to control the movement of teeth more effectively, and with localized implant studs or clear attachments, fine alignment of teeth later in treatment is also more guaranteed. As a final note, because there are more procedural steps to corporatize before invisible orthodontics, as long as the doctor provides the correct diagnosis and treatment plan, chairside time is greatly reduced when getting the molded braces to wear for the patient, something that is both convenient for the doctor and beneficial for the patient, or should be done more often. Of course, the cost is a little more than conventional orthodontic treatment, but there is still a need for more communication and for patients to know in advance. I wish patients happy orthodontics!
