Bruzinski’s sign is a leg lift test also known as Kellnig’s sign, which causes the patient to lie supine with both legs straightened and neck flexed forward, and the symptoms of flexion of both lower limbs and leg retraction are positive. Any subarachnoid infection such as encephalitis, meningitis, or symptoms such as hemorrhage can be positive, but can be negative in deep coma. Therefore, patients should adjust their mindset before the examination, normal rest and diet, and relax during the examination to prevent the examination from being carried out smoothly due to nervousness. The examination does not require fasting and is available for both men and women. If there is a positive Bruzinski’s sign, it is mostly seen in acute soft meningitis and tuberculous meningitis. The population to be examined is patients suffering from acute molluscum meningitis and tuberculous meningitis.
