Can you get an icl lens implant at 60?

60 years old is usually not suitable for icl lens implantation.
1. There is an age limit for lens implantation surgery and the appropriate age is usually 18-45 years old. The surgery is performed by implanting an IOL into a person’s eye to change the overall refractive error of the eye in order to remove the lens. Patients who wish to undergo icl lens implantation should preferably not have had any eye surgery and have no eye diseases such as glaucoma, iritis, or diabetic retinopathy.
2. After the age of 18, the refractive state of the patient tends to stabilize, and the risk of needing to wear framed glasses or needing a second surgery after the operation is relatively low, while patients at the age of 60 may have cataracts, presbyopia and other ocular diseases, and are not suitable for ICL implantation anymore.
