Why is growth monitoring necessary?

At the same time, the size of fontanelle and the time of closure have important significance for pediatric clinic. Regular growth monitoring of children can keep track of their nutritional status and reflect the level of development and growth potential achieved by healthy children at that time; for sick children, it can help parents and doctors to detect diseases early, analyze the causes in time and intervene early.
