Wang’s Bao Chi Wan is made from the flavors of Huang Lian and Da Huang, which are processed. It has the effect of dispelling stagnation, strengthening the spleen and dispelling phlegm. It is used for children with lactation stagnation and chancre, phlegm convulsion and wind, wheezing and coughing with phlegm, reduced milk food, vomiting and diarrhea with fever, constipation, four-time cold, as well as weak spleen and stomach and stunted growth; it is also effective for those with unclear intestine and stomach and phlegm food obstruction. Also, it can be used for children with weak spleen and stomach and stunted growth, and needs to be taken with warm boiled water. For children under 6 months of age, 5 capsules should be taken each time, for children between 6 months and 3 years of age, 6-36 capsules should be taken each time, with an additional capsule for every month over 1 year. 40 capsules should be taken each time for children between 2 and 7 years of age, and 60 capsules should be taken each time for children between 7 and 14 years of age. Adults need to take 120 capsules twice a day.
