Pediatric acupressure for treating middle jiao blockage

Pediatric middle jiao obstruction is not usually seen in stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, emaciation, etc. Pediatric massage methods such as clearing the spleen meridian, and pushing the abdominal yin and yang separately can be used.
Clearing the spleen meridian: hold the child’s thumb in one hand to fix it, and push the threaded surface of the child’s thumb with the other hand from the tip of the finger to the root of the finger; or hold the child’s thumb straight in one hand to fix it, and push the end of the thumb with the other hand from the radial edge of the child’s thumb from the root of the finger to the tip of the finger 100 to 500 times.
Sub-pushing abdominal yin and yang: the child lies on the back, the operator uses the two thumb tips to push 100 to 200 times along the edge of the rib arch angle or from the mid-epigastric region (located in the upper abdomen, 4 inches above the umbilicus, on the anterior midline) to the umbilicus to the two sides.
If a child has symptoms of blockage and impassability in the middle jiao, parents are advised to bring him/her to the doctor in time. If you need to use pediatric massage, it is recommended to go to a professional medical institution.
