Children’s gray nails, i.e. ringworm, refers to the disease caused by dermatophytes invading the nail plate or underneath the nail, and the common treatment includes general treatment, surgical treatment and drug treatment. 1. General treatment: pay attention to the hygiene of the affected area, keep it clean and dry, if the foot gray nail should throw away the old shoes or use disinfectant or antifungal agent to treat the old shoes. 2. Surgical treatment: For white superficial and distal lateral subnail damage, the nail can be removed with a knife. Surgical nail extraction is less commonly used nowadays. 3. Drug treatment (1) Local medication: for surgical nail removal, tincture of iodine or glacial acetic acid solution can be used locally; for removal, urea ointment and other local sealing treatments can be applied first in order to make the diseased nail peel off, and then cyclopiazide and other drugs can be used locally. (3) Systemic medications: commonly used include itraconazole and terbinafine. The use of specific treatments should be under the guidance of a doctor. If there is any discomfort, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time for treatment.
