What about adenocarcinoma of the rectum?

Rectal adenocarcinoma should be treated according to the clinical staging of CT and MRI, and if it is localized in the early or middle stage, it should be treated with surgery first. If it is localized middle or late stage, chemotherapy and radiotherapy can be considered first, and then according to the therapeutic effect, it can be decided whether further surgical treatment is needed. Adjuvant chemotherapy or radiotherapy is needed if there are high risk factors such as lymph node metastasis after surgery. If there are distant organ metastases such as liver metastases and lung metastases, different treatment options such as surgery and chemotherapy will be adopted depending on the number of metastatic foci.
