What’s wrong with the itchy inside of your eye?

Itching on the inside of the eyes is usually caused by allergic conjunctivitis, blepharitis and dry eye.
Allergic conjunctivitis is related to the patient’s allergy and exposure to allergens, such as willow, pollen, etc. It is easily triggered by contact with the conjunctival tissues of the eye, and can be treated with olopatadine hydrochloride eye drops under the guidance of a doctor.
Dry eye is caused by insufficient tear secretion, rapid tear evaporation or abnormal tear composition, and should be treated with artificial tear drops, such as sodium vitrate eye drops.
Blepharitis, on the other hand, is very much related to chronic bacterial infections, and requires attention to personal hygiene, good eye cleaning, and the use of antibiotic eye ointment to kill bacteria.
Patients with itchy inner eyes may also be due to inverted eyelashes, foreign bodies, etc. Patients should go to the ophthalmology department of the hospital in a timely manner, so that the doctor can find out the cause and guide the treatment.
